Ingredients:
Maida - 150 gms
Sugar - 150 gms
Salt - 1 Pinch
Butter - 125 gms
Milk - 50 ml
Vanila Essence - 1 Tea spoon
Cloves - 2
Elaichi - 2
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Baking Powder - 1 Tea spoon
Baking Soda - 1 Tea Spoon
Mixed Fruit Jam - 2 Table spoons
Chopped Raisins - 50 gms
Chopped Cashew nuts - 50 gms
Chopped Walnuts - 50 gms
Chopped Tuti Fruits - 50 gms
Materials:
1. Aluminum tray greased with ghee
2. Knife
1. Melt butter and mix all the dry fruits.
2. Make a fine powder of all the spices Cloves,Elaichi and Cinnamon and mix.
3. Sieve Maida, Baking Powder and Baking soda for three times so that they mix well.
4. Add this mix slowly.
5. Add Sugar, Salt, Fruit jam and Vanilla essence.
6. Mix thoroughly and add milk till you get a Vada flour consistency.
7. Put the above mix into the aluminium tray.
8. Pre heat oven at 200 C for about 15 minutes
9. Now bake the cake for about 15 minutes at 200 C.
10. Keep a note on the surface of the cake while baking and you will see it raising nicely. If you insert a tooth pick into the cake and when you take it out, it should be dry.
